I want know about the Pearls they are selling on the pier 39.My friend bought a pearl necklace and I want to know if they are quality pearls or are they selling them at the right price. I could not tell if they were good ones.

Maybe a good idea would be to take your friends pearls into a jewlery shop and have them appraised, then you will know whether purchasing pearls at pier 39 would be a good investment. For myself I never purchasing anything of value in a tourist area.
