Hello,
My family of 4 would like to make a trip to krabi from Hatyai. Pls help with the following info:- Which is the bus station and how much to get the tickets to krabi from Hatyai? which is a decent hotel is Krabi, would prefer one with beach as hubby needs to de-stress from overload at work!! What are the interesting places to visit in Krabi Hoping to spend 3 days from 11th Jun to 13th Jun 2009. Any good advice?? Thanks a million Pat |

Go to the bus station for buses to Phuket just of Th Phetkasem road in Hat Yai, there you will find many buses going to Phuket & Krabi. Air-con bus 170B journey time 3 hours or try one of the many travel agents in Hat Yai and take a shared minibus to Krabi. similar price.
I can suggest Ao-nang beach where you can relax on the beach with family and also just behind the beach are plenty restuarants, Cafes and bars for food & drink. also from here you can get boat around to Railay Bay which is very nice. Many hotels for everybody in Ao-nang, you'll find something. Trips from Krabi - take ferry over to Phi Phi Islands many tours for familys. you find plenty to do. Ao-nang is not in Krabi where you will get off so either take a taxi or sawngthaew. have a nice time.

Ao-Nang is nice. There is a lots of islands you can go to with the cheap longtailboats.
