Can any one recomend visiting Siem Reap in August, what is the weather like and roads.
Are there many travelers, and are accomadation prices lower,

Yeah Ricky52 shows the risk- you are going in the wet season. It could be fine, but it could rain the entire time and make the Angkor Park so muddy and inaccessable that it is a disaster. Recommend you go somewhere else at this time of year like eastern Thailand, Vietnam beaches? And go to Siem Reap post late October when wet season ends.

I can only vouch for Siem Reap from early to mid March, which is hot and humid but not unbearable as August might be. I had zero rain in March and beautiful skies but hot. Lots of other travelers in March and everything is relatively inexpensive. Your pass for Angkor will perhaps be the priciest thing unless you stay at a ritzy hotel.

I have been to Siem Reap twice in the rainy season and once in Feb. Should be cheaper in August. Never had much rain but nobody could guarantee weather anywhere really.

My trip would be around 11-18 to Phnom penh and contėnue to Siem reap. But beforf that, i'm heading to saigon. Would it b possible that we meet? Since am travel by myself n ths s my 1st time to cambodia.
