Aix-en-Provence Where to visit ?

will have 3 day stay in Aix without car. I know Avignon already. Whereelse I could visit for a half day each place outside Aix ( not Marseille )

there should be some good connections on the train to Avignon , I think it is direct, and Nimes, also direct. Arles is also a good place but requires a change. French railroad should supply the timetables.

check for direction, hours, and prices here in French train official site for that region is here Provence.

nearby towns are Salon-en-Provence,Cavaillon (in the Luberon region) Istres,a bit further away is Arles,Tarascon, Martigues.
The best is the region of Luberon,north of Aix-en-Provence lovely country there.Manosque is another there in the Luberon.

they have an excellent bus service in the area, local and inter city nearby
