Does anyone have any information on Panguipulli? Looking for places to stay and eat. It appears to be a resort area. Thanks.

Panguipulli is not a resort. It is a town in the lake district. You go through it if you are heading for the Hua Hum crossing to Argentina by ferry. It is also on the road to the Huilo Huilo nature reserve. The two most upmarket hotels in the area are the Baobab and the Magic Mountain, both ideal for visiting Huilo Huilo. There is also lodging in Panguipulli, Neltume and Choshuenco.
At the moment it is heavily flooded due to winter storms, but it is a nice route to Argentina in the summer.
