hey everyone, in august i will visit phnom penh with a backpack full of pencil colour books and toys perhaps someone knows ? a orphanage where i can deliver.

Also, rather than bring books and pencils, why not buy them locally? It will save you carrying them and also boost the local economy.

One option would be to go by the Veiyo Tonle Restaurant on the riverfront, the proceeds of which support an orphanage, and donate them there. Friends is another option. The links to their websites are in my Phnom Penh restaurant tips.

There is a great place in Phnom Penh that helps out street children called Mith Samlanh, or Friends. They are located at 215 Street 13. They have a school, a restaurant and a store run by the staff and kids. Very friendly place and they'd love donations I'm sure!
Also, it's fun to hand out things to the street kids as you go, especially along the river.
