I completely agree. I just returned from a trip to Multan. It is a shame that I get so close to a beautiful city with such wonderful culture and history, but security measures dectiate that I cannot enjoy it.

Things would take long time and the impact would more than our expectations, in Swat, Buner and Lower Dir.

I'm with a Spanish Media people these days and today I was in Palai Darra, wherefrom the road goes to Buner and Thana of Swat.

The plight of the IDPs in the camps, the weather conditions and the growing insurgency would pose greater threats to the whole region.

I can only pray.

Its good to hear from media that people have started returning home.Electricity and gas has restarted at least in Mingora town. Civil administrators are returning, shops reopening.This may still take few weeks but things are going in right direction.
