Hello... Red line, blue line, gold line... these are a bit confusing!!! can someone help me with deciphering it me please!

I was to know the best way to get to Hollywood Blvd from LAX international airport using public transportation. I figured out that LAX Flyway connects to 3 locations but what is the best connection for the rest of the trip.

Thanks in advance.

Take the FlyAway bus that goes to Union Station (not the other two). At Union Station, take the MTA Red Line (not the Purple Line) subway train, which has three stops on Hollywood Blvd.: Western, Vine, and Highland.

Hey CT,
Can you help me with some more information pls? Whats the easiest way to go from Hollywood Blvd to Wilshire Blvd? Isn't there public transport, and if cab is the only way out, how much would it cost me approximately?
Thank you.

The Red Line subway train stops at Wilshire and Vermont. From there you can take the 20 or 720 (Rapid) bus that plies the length of Wilshire Blvd. Please go to www.mta.net for schedule, route, and stops. Note that fare is $1.25 but you may get a day pass for $5, which is good on MTA buses and trains for the day.
