What is the distance in mins and route from feungirola stn to las rampas hotel ( c pintor nogales s n ) on foot. I have not found a good map which clearly shows this.
I also would like to know the same info to get to calle espagne from the hotel too on foot. simple directions with landmarks would be appreciated x

Also can you recommend a nice place to eat near to where Im staying. I dont want to much hassle as I will be travelling alone

If you go to www.googlemaps.com

you type the address of the hotel: calle pintor nogales, fuengirola

then click on Calculate the Route, and type: estacion de tren, fuengirola

(Or just the other way round, as you want to start at the railway station)

I get a near straight line of 2.1 kilometres. If you walk at a speed of 6 - 7 km per hour, it takes you about 20 minutes.

The same with the other address, just pay attention that you type:

calle espana - without the g

This is a five minute's walk.

I believe that the previous response used the wrong Fuengirola train station. The Fuengirola train station is at the end of the line from Malaga. If you go to the Hotel website www.HotelLasRampas.com and click on Situacion, there is a very good map. The train station is at "Reyes" on the map and it is across from the Mercacentral. It is only about a 7 minute walk to the hotel and you will pass the bus station on Calle Alfonso XIII along the way.

If you do mean Calle España, it is at the bottom of the map from the hotel website. In between the hotel and Calle España is Fish Alley. This is an area with many restaurants on Calle Moncayo. One of my favorites is Don Pe. There are also many restaurants in the Port. There are many Chiringuitos (Beach Bars/Restaurants)along the Paseo Maritimo.
