San Francisco Parking near Hilton on O'Farrell

I am staying at the Hilton on O'Farrell for a conference and having a friend drive up to see me for a few days.

The Hilton is charging $54+ a night for parking!

Can anyone recommend a decent less expensive parking garage in the vicinity? My friend would like their car in the area and not park outside the city and take BART in.

Thanks for any help!

Yes. I would definitely stay away from that $54/night parking. There are several garages in downtown SFO that might be near your hotel and that one near the Civic Plaza (as posted above)is where I parked my car and it was way way cheaper and safe too. If you drive around your hotel once you get there. you just follow signs that will tell you where there are overnight parking garages. they're everywhere.

There is a public parking garage 2 blocks from your hotel. This garage is right in-front of Macy's (much safer blocks to walk) and it is much cheaper then $54/night.
