Hi,

I am booking transfers tomorrow at my travel agent but even though I am staying at Patong Bay Garden resort, they tell me pick up is the pearl resort...is it far from there???

Book the transfer when you are there. I have stayed often at Patong Bay Garden and do not recognise the name Pearl Resort. The whole idea of a transfer is that it from YOUR hotel! Local price for airport transfer is 600 THB.

If you were to google earth Patong Bay Garden Resort which is on Thaveevong Road and Pearl Resort which is on Sawatdirak Road,there is about a 10 minute walk...!!??..If they mean Absolute Pearl Resort,it could mean up to a 30 minute walk...!!??...Depends how fast you walk of course...!!...However,like John said...The idea of transfers is to get you directly to and from your own hotel...That's crazy having to walk to another hotel for pickup or dropoff...??

Seems he informed well, this is for the pick uo for Fantasea show...all it saysis Pearl Resort on voucher...

If you cancel I would and make arrangements locally, the Patong Bay Garden has a use tour desk that can take care of all your transfers trips etc.

If you can't cancel, enjoy the walk :-)

Your travel agent has made a mistake. Possibly he/she contacted the Pearl Resort and bought the vouchers from them. Fantasea has a limited number of agents, so the best thing to do (and what I recommend that my clients do) is to book FOR YOURSELF with Fantasea's online booking form. With this form you specify your hotel pickup.

It is already booked, will just have to call them when I land and see exactly where or take a tuk tuk
