where in prague can i get the best rates for buying czk with euro? jjamvant@yahoo.com

From my experiences the best rates could be found:
- Several exchanges in "Opleatlova" and "Politickych veznu" streets - close to Wenceslas street,
-small Exchange in metro B vestibule downstairs at junction of the "Jungmannova", "Perlova" and "Narodni" streets,
- Exchange in the passage of the building "Jungmannova" street - No 32 or 34

There are lots of exchange offices all over the tourist area and although the rate fluctuates daily they all offer more or less the same rate at any given time.Don't change money at the airport because the rates there are a rip off and don't be tempted to change any with anyone who approaches you in the street because thats even more of a rip off. Personally I always change my money here in England before I go.The rates are just as good as in Prague.

There are many places to exchange near charles bridge and touristy areas, avoid western union they give very poor rates such a rip off.

And DO NOT change money off the street, when your near thge money exchange people will come up to you and offer amazing rates, just ignore they give fake currency, and some times russian rubals etc...

Exchange at Politickych veznu - I found the best rate in March 2009.
