Busy Phuket?

Hi, I would like to know if Patong is busy right now I am thinking of going next week.

As long as its reasonably lively it's worth going. Sounds OK so I will probably turn up. I notice you do diving how much is it for a course - I would be completely new to it.

Chris, shoot me a PM and I'll fill you in about diving. You can do a simple try-dive for one day and then decide if you want to do the full course, or you can jump right in and get fully certified from the start. Let me know how long you'll be here and what your other goals for your visit are, and I'll advise you.

If you do end up doing something stupid (like nicking a souvenir bar mat, even as a prank), DO NOT scream abusive invective at the police who respond to the bar manager's call for assistance. You will only make a small wrist-slap issue become an international crisis, LOL.

Anyway,the woman in question has returned to Australia to a barrage of media and cameras everywhere....How ridiculous...!!??...
Like most Aussies,Go to Thailand and get absolutely plastered(drunk)and cause trouble...Now that's having a good time..!!..Wha..??...
I don't drink so I guess I would'nt know how to have a good time...!!..

Pardon me, Tangomango, but it's not MOST Aussies who behave badly, although there certainly are plenty of them, unfortunately.

That woman is a disgrace. A pity she comes from Australia.

Patong was very quiet when we were there last week, but I think there are a few more people headed over for June.
