I was just there in December and I must say it's probably one of the best resorts i ever stayed at. It's top notch. My friend stayed at another resort the last time she went, which was across the water from the Royal Sunset and she said it wasn't nearly as nice as this one.

Yes I stayed there and liked it too. They had aqua-aerobics in the pool everyday which were VERY fun. I also liked the food, the beach area, etc. Didn't spend much time in my room.... but yeah we had lots of fun and drank a lot as well.

The other resort is the Sunset Lagoon and it's a sister resort of the Royal Sunset... you have access to both when you book in either of them, with free transportation and all. It's true that it's nowhere as nice.... but they have water activities in the lagoon (I kayaked and it was fun) which the Royal sunset doesn't have. It's cool to have access to both in any case.... but of course I preferred the Royal S.
