I have had conflicting reports of duty free at arrivals in terminal 3 in AUH. Can anyone tell me what the up to date version is, the last I heard was that T3 had no arrivals duty free but all passengers are moved into T1 anyway and have full use of the arrivals facility there,other reports say no so I am slightly confused here, and do we go through T1 after all.

The Airport website says both terminals have stores.

They also offer access up to 48 hours after arrival.

I had seen the 48 hour bit in the newspapers but we will be going on up to Dubai,at least by the sound of it if there back in and stock up
