Hi everyone,
Can anyone recommend a closes hotel from Ninoy aquino Internation airport and Pal domestic airport. I am arriving late in manila and have an eary flight to mindanao, so all i want is a place were I can stay for the night. Or do you think Pal domestic airport allows passengers to stay overnight in there departure area?

I stayed at Kabayan Hotel. Around 15 minutes away (depending on traffic conditions) from the airport but it was no hassle at all. I was picked up by the hotel transport service at the airport. I could not recall if the hotel-airport service was free of charge. Just ask about it upon checking in. You have to make advance arrangement with the hotel transport service. Make reservations in their website at http://www.kabayanhotel.com.ph/pasay.php

By the way, if you want a wake up call, do not bother. Before I made reservations with Kabayan, I already heard of complaints that their wake up calls were delayed or it never happened. True to the warning, my wake up call was 15 minutes late.

The closest would be the Manila Airport Hotel. It's just outside NAIA 1 and about 5 mins. drive to Centennial (PAL) Terminal. However, I've been getting mixed reviews about it. Some say it's acceptable as a "transit" hotel, while others are not happy with it. Maybe you can check their website.

What time do you arrive and what time is your departure?

You can get some cheaper hotels in Malate or Ermita areas too! It is not that far a ride, probably 25 minutes.

I catch meter taxi rides back to the airport from the Ermita area pretty easy, even around 3-4 a.m. You can even use the hotel taxi to return you to the airport.

I slept at the airport and it wasn't so bad. Many people coming from late night international flights and an early morning domestic night just sleep at the airport. I do have a place in Manila but it was just a hassle going home for a shut eye then going back to the airport again.

I have arrived very late in Manila and had to catch a 6am domestic flight. I decided to hang out at the domestic airport in the company of so many who were also waiting to catch an early morning flight. No problem, there are benches and they allow people to wait outside. They let people come into the terminal by 5am. I enjoyed talking to people and making a couple of friends ovenight.
