Which do you think is easier from the Pisa Airport to Florence, the bus or the train?

Any help in finding the departure location of either from Pisa would be appreciated as well. I'll be arriving about 15:00 at the Pisa airport and would like to get to Florence as easily/efficiently as possible.

I've never used the bus but know from experience that the train is very straight forward and the website for the airport indicates the bus is too. Your arrival time may well be the deciding factor - there are many more buses each day than trains

The railway station is connected to the terminal via a covered walkway. Services run to Pisa Centrale and Florence (Firenze SMN),

I've used both methods. Both take about the same time, but you may have to change trains at Pisa Centrale. The airport train takes about 5 very slow minutes to get to P Centrale, and you may have to change platforms.

The Terravision bus goes from the airport car park and drops you off outside Santa Maria Novella station in Florence. Best to book your tickets online for this: coaches get full-up whilst trains do not.

Buses can get stuck in traffic congestion, so your arrival and departures times are relevant from this point of view.

Having used both, on balance I'd say train is the safest option in terms of time-keeping. So I'd choose bus from and train to the airport (and did).
