Fantasea is worth going to if you have children, but once again, it is a place that uses animals in unnatural ways. I feel sorry for the elephants especially with the very loud noises very close to their ears. It is up to you how you feel about visiting the show based on how you feel about performing animals, but it is a bit like Cirque du Soleil. I quite enjoyed the show. I was asked to go by some visitors before I knew much about it, otherwise I probably wouldn't have gone.

By the way, you don't really need gold class seats. Row R or S in the centre of silver are probably even better. They're the first row after the walkway between the sections and you can see more of what's happening overhead. If you'd like bookings and transfers done for you, contact Mai on; hknuch@hotmail.com It's chaos when you get out of there and really good to have someone waiting for you to whisk you away.

Oh, and yes, there are crocs available in Phuket, several places, but one I see all the time is at Central Festival Shopping Centre by the escalators.

Hi Tina...not to mention not feeding the baby tigers until they are so starving that they are quiet in people's arms because they are drinking bottled milk before they have a photo on the way into the show...
I found their crying particularly sad..

However, the show is spectacular and I guess it does mean that some of the animals are "looked after"

If I see any Crocs while I'm out, I'll take a look. I would buy my Fantasea ticket here, it couldn't be any more expensive than buying it in Australia, surely.

Yes...!!...I totally agree with Tina and Alba...The poor animals suffer greatly just to satisfy the unsuspecting tourists and show goers...Ignorance is not a crime, but the torture that the poor elephants and baby tigers go thru I believe is a crime...And indeed it is similar to Cirque De Soleil tho' including animals...
It is indeed cheaper to purchase tickets @ an agents counter in Phuket...!!
I did go to see this show but my ignorance was not knowing what I know now...
"What we don't know about the elephants and how they are trained"...It is heartbreaking...!!

While things can be bad, as I dont know for sure, I will rest my judgement. In australia at the moment in Melbourne it is all ban jumps racing lalala, well I actually have worked in the racing industry for 15 years and had horses all my life and yes, while there are a few dodgy people and accidents waiting to happen, most of them are not bad..the doo gooders are going ona bout something they dont know and only see the televised falls and fatalities, more horses die in paddocks of breaking legs than in racing. And alot of horses that jump would have ended up possible dieing in paddocks of starvation, I know of quite a few that are dangerous and would hurt a rider if just sold on.

So, yes, I will make my own judgement, this web site was the same site that told me to make sure i saw the Tiger Temple, well, I was not impressed at how drugged up the tiger in the photos was, a dead weight, not no one once mentioned that.

Crulety is everywhere unfortuantly but sometimes people are mis informed.
