DO you know if Janska 7, 15000 Prague is a good area?

Well, Janska street is in Prague 118 00, not 15000.

It is in most touristy area, so all restaurants/shops around will be tourists oriented and priced accordingly. Car movement is extremely restricted in the area so it will be quiet there, and your street is a block away from main tourist route Nerudova street so it should have less crowds under the windows as well. It is quiet romantic and beautiful area (when thousands of tourists are not around :-) )

It is located very close to the Castle. You will have to walk to the hill (or take taxi) each time retuning from other parts of the city. Tram stop is around 500 m., metro stop is one tram stop away.

yes
