Hello, can anyone recommend hostel accomodation which has access for 7 cars to be parked outside on the outskirts of Bucharest but easy to get to the centre by public transport ?

There aren't any real hostels on the outskirts of Bucharest, they're all located inside the city (mostly in the downtown).

One option for budget accommodations on Bucharest's outskirts would be the various guesthouses in the villages/suburbs around the city (they usually have parking lots), but note that public transportation on Bucharest suburban routes isn't particularly good (you usually have the 'choice' between relatively frequent, but terribly crowded minibuses and infrequent buses).

If you decide to use this type of accommodation, you should probably stay in one of the guesthouses in Otopeni, where Bucharest's main airport is located - for which reason public transport to it is slightly better developed (there's bus 783, coming from the airport and going to downtown Bucharest every half hour).
