Nassau cruise line visit to Atlantis resort

Is it easy enough to take a taxi from the port to Atlantis rather than do the cruise excursion? I want to visit the water park, but my family would just look around the resort.

It's a ten minute ride by the water taxi. very easy. Your family can look around the resort, but to use the water park you have to buy a day pass. It used to be in the neighborhood of 100 dollars.

In your post about a water taxi from the port to Atlantis, do you remember the cost per person to do that? I am trying to determine if the price the cruise line charges for the Atlantis package is worth it or better to do on my own. thanks!

Yes the price was $3.00 per person each way, or six dollars return trip.
