Turks and Caicos Islands Travel Forum

I heard Turks & Caicos was beautiful and a ton of fun. I wanted to book a trip for my friends to have a girl's getaway, but I wanted to book our activities with girl related interests. Does anyone know about or have used a travel agency that specializes in travel for women and activities for girls?

We were on Provo, and I would not call the island beautiful. The beach was nice, the water warm, but the guards at the security shack thought we were nuts to leave the facility. More of a desert island with resorts. Not my cup of tea. To be candid, we never made it to the marina, which we were told was a bit more interesting. Karl

Turks & Caicos is one of my favorite getaway islands but mainly for total R&R. There's not just a ton of things to do so if you're looking for lots of site seeing, you may be disappointed.

But, if you want to chill on the beach, catch up on reading, and eat good food, you'll be fine. I went there a few years ago with 2 girlfriends and enjoyed it.

Have you considered Grand Cayman? 7 mile beach is great and there's more to do on the island - some of the best restaurants too.
