Hello!

My husband and I stayed at the BEST hostel when we were in Vienna last year! It is the Hostel Ruthensteiner (www.hostelruthensteiner.com). The prices range from €15-€18/person for a dorm bed and are slightly higher for more private rooms.

Everything about this hostel is great, starting with the location to the Westbahnhof train station (about 3 blocks) and other public transportation, which allows you very easy access to all parts of the city.

The staff and atmosphere are welcoming and cheerful. And, the facilities include - onsite laundry room, computers with internet access, free wireless internet with your own laptop, a bar, musical instruments to play (free of charge), full kitchen and BBQ, free lockers, book trade (give a book/take a book), etc. Also, it is smoke-free, and there is NO CURFEW! I HIGHLY recommend staying here!
