What? If you're visiting next week (and not in July/August) you must have gotten something wrong. It is true that it's quite warm in the sun, but overall I'd call it a bit chilly. Right now, 11am, it's sunny at 55°F, last night temperature dropped near freezing point.
Forecast for next week is around 65°F during the day, expect some 45°F and lower in the evenings.
You may keep an eye on th national weather service's temperature forecast at
http://www.dwd.de/bvbw/appmanager/bvbw/dwdwwwDesktop?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=_dwdwww_wetter_warnungen_deutschlandwetter&T31202958461164878569321gsbDocumentPath=Navigation%2FOeffentlichkeit%2FWetter__Warnungen%2FWetter__Deutschland%2F15__Tage%2F9__Tag__node.html__nnn%3Dtrue . The map shows overall temperatures for the day 9 ("Tag 9") from now, select other days on the left. Highest temperatures in orange, lowest in white, all of course in Celsius.

Well, speaking of offensive: no flip flops, no shorts and no t-shirts in a church, that's the one thing you should not forget. Other than that, do as you like, still, I wouldn't wear flip flops in restaurants or museums, looks a bit cheap and touristy IMHO.
