Me and my boyfriend from Norway are going to Sharm El Sheik 5 july for the first time. Are there many tourist there at this time of the year?

Sharm is a very, very popular UK package holiday destination so I don't think you will find it empty.

You may also find quite a lot of UK families (schools break up mid-July in England, but earlier in Scotland).

Yes sharm is very popular tourist city right now and not only uk travellers but recently Russians and eastern europe travellers too,there is no off season in Sharm but it doesn't mean that you won't enjoy it if it is full of tourists.you will love it and sure you will be back again one day .

Sharm is the most touristy place you can find in Egypt. You'll be amid thousands of package tourists.
Would suggest you go to Dahab instead, if you're less than 60 year old.

yes there would be alot of toursits in july, sharm and hurghada receives lots of tourists during the year, so the answer anyway is yes :).
