Where would be a good place to stay for a party of 15?

Hello

I am getting married in August and was thinking about a venue for my stag weekend. I am keen to avoid your typical stag weekend of nothing but drinking and shamefull behaviour. I would like to go some where with good walks, good sceinery, good pubs and some good male bonding. I feel the lake district would be perfect but where to stay? There will be around 15 men going and i would like to know where would be best to go.

Any help or answears to my question would be much appreciated.

try these as you may have difficulty getting accomodation for 15 men in a hotel or BB/Guesthouse ( stag parties are a bit of a no-no in most accomodations around england)

Keswick is very cute. I´ve stayed there in 2000. There are also a lot of opportunities for exploring the surrounding area.
