Hi

I was wondering where I can find a used book store in SF. I will be staying on Grove St, near the Civic Center and then on Lombard near the Presidio.

It's been a while since my son graduated, but I want to say I did see some used book stores around the Haight/Asbury area near GG park. From the downtown area you can hop on the 5 Fulton bus and get off at the University of San Francisco. You can use Google maps.

Aside from finding the books store, this is a very picturesque area of San Fran where most of the hippie era took place. You can walk to GG park from there.

Green Apple Books at 506 Clement St. It's a fabulous store. You can take the Geary bus from downtown. (Clement is parallel and one block north of Geary).

I don't know of any used book stores on Haight, but if you want used CDs, Amoeba (on Haight ST) has both new and used. Also vinyl.
