hi, i'm goning to the magnum resort in candolim in december for my honeymoon. This will be my first visit to goa. What would you recommend to see and do?

I have heard a few years back that Goa has a 1-week long carnival during the Christmas.
DO not miss it if you are there at this time.

I'm sure there are plenty of parties during december. But the actual goa carnival takes place in february sometime.

I went to goa for my first time a few months ago with my fiance and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

Apart from lazing around on the beach there are the old churches in old goa and the weekend flea markets in anjuna. River cruises and tattoo parlours. There is also some great treking outside town if you are interested- although we werent.

Dont try and plan your trip in goa- just land up- there will be plenty to do.

we were in candolim in march 02 a lot quieter than calangute a visit to spice plantation is interesting. a taxi cost us about £10 for the day and they will take u where u want to goalso give u advice, beware of sellers on the beach they are very persistent but friendly
