I was just informed via email that Susan had a heart attack yesterday morning. For those of you that know her, this is not the first that she has had, but it was pretty bad. She will be in the hospital for awhile recovering. I've called the house, but naturally I got the voice mail, and I did leave a message. I have nothing more to go on at this point. She did want those to know who have signed up for the "VT MEET LAS VEGAS", that she has to cancel it. ~

Oh Z, that is terrible! Please keep us posted and pass on good wishes from her VT family when you are able to do so.

Me too. I will keep this thread updated as I receive news. I also will continue to call her as well and let her know that the VT community is thinking about her. ~

Ms. Zanzooni: My wife and I were out at the library yesterday morning helping to plant bushes when Susan started to feel "strange'. He husband was called (I take it he's a RN) and he came over immediately. She was airlifted from the fir station about 20 minutes after she started to feel strange. My wife and I followed her husband to the hospital in Austin where she underwent a surgery for a blockage. It seems that she had one before a couple of years ago. We came home after making sure she made it through the surgery and giving her husband our phone number. When we went this morning to check on her, she was worried about the VT meet. So I promised to contact you to spread the word that she couldn't go. Her physician said this morning that she would probably go home in a few days. My wife will be checking on her again tomorrow. She's a spitfire of a lady and I really don't see this as keeping her down for very long. It's funny in a way. She seemed more concerned with missing a meet than with the fact she had another heart attack. Said to tell you all don't worry, she'll meet you sooner or later. Georg Hardin

zanzooni, maybe you can write to giampiero that the meeting is canceled or to stephany, thats what i did after having my heartoperation and i had to cancel the 5rh europe meeting.
i wishing Susan a good recovery and all the best although i dont know her:-)

Tell Susan that with a big heart such as she has it needs a rest--another vt meet will come around and hope I will be there to meet her.

Oh no! Susan, I am looking forward to meeting with you this July, so you had better get better young lady! I wish you a speedy and full recovery from surgery and as a precaution I've postponed the disco meet, no wild gyrations around the dance floor for you heh heh.
