Hi all, could anyone please advise when the world dubai is due to be finished and if its possible to do a boat tour or something to haave a look at it so far? last year we did a tour that took us up the trunk of the palm jumierah whilst it was being built and we were hjoping to do a similar thing

hi Lisa,

Due to economic crisis majority of projects have been kept on hold.. so u if need to exactly when its going to finish ull have to wait atleast for feew more months as there is no concrete answer at the moment

The main dredging is finished so the islands are there but they're basically just piles of sand with nothing on them.

You can now drive onto Palm Jumeirah all the way to the outer crescent, where Atlantis Hotel is. Taxis will take you if you don't have a car. You can also take a dhow tour from Dubai Marina which goes around the marina and Palm Jumeirah.
