Day Tripper To Marseilles

We are contemplating a day trip to Marseilles from Reillanne mid May. What features/sites would you suggest for 1 day trippers?

Marseilles has the vieux port area,chateau d'If and thats all. oh a good football team too ::) Petanque ,the french past time game began there in 1907. you can have a good bouillabaisse for lunch. Do some boating for the Calanques. Nice church in Notre Dame de la Garde.walk to the Corniche Kennedy, great views from there !

Hi..

If you're only going for a day, you could do worse than base yourself at the Vieux Port. All the Frioul, If and Calanques boats and ferries leave from there, the "petit train" to Notre Dame de la Garde also leaves from there, and there are plenty of restaurants to sate your appetite. Good for just hanging out and people watching, too. Have a good time.
