Hi, Im traveling to miami with my brother this weekend and I would like to know what's the best choice for transportation in the city. I will be staying in the sofitel near the airport and I am going to need transportation to the dolphin and aventura mall. Can you please tell me what are my options (taxi, shuttles) and their prices? thanks in advance.

The best option for you is to rent a car. the car rentals are inexpensive compared to taxis. to my knowledge there are no shuttles from sofitel to aventura mall. there are occasional buses out of the airport or you could take a taxi to the Metro which do not run often enough.. Rental Car is the best Option.. plus they tend to be cheaper during the weekend if no great event is taking place in Miami..

limited public transport there, best is to weight in the cost of car rental vs taxi.Sofitel is very nice, part of French chain at blue lagoon dr ,close to Dolphin but far from Aventura Mall, i prefer Aventura ::)
