Moscow Birds Eye View Of Moscow

Hello,
Making a short trip to Moscow in May and wondered if there is anywhere I can go, such as a church tower or tall building, to take some birds-eye photographs of the city - especially the Red Square & Kremlin areas.

Thanks in advance for any replies and advice

Ostankinsakaya (TV) bashnya is reopened. I think this is the highest point in Moscow.http://www.tvtower.ru/52_SmotrovyaPl/
But it should be booked at least 5 days in advance.

Hi,
I know only one availible place for what you want in Red Square area - open roof bar in Ritz Carlton Hotel (Tverskaya Street).Very nice view to Kreml and Red Square.
Also you can get the view of the city from bar in SwissHotel Krasnye Holmy and view point Vorobyevy Gory (near the Moscow State University), but they are not close to historical center of Moscow.

Good luck !

Hello,

I have just read this interesting thread. I was in Moscow in July 2005 when the Ostankino Tower was closed. I will be in Moscow again this October and if possible would love to enjoy the views from the Ostankino Tower.

So is it correct that it has reopened? How much is it and what are the opening times. I can't find any appropriate info on the Ostankino website.

Thanks,

HORSCHECK
