Andorra So many hotels!!! How to decide?
Posted: Tue April 28, 2009 05:07 AM UTC
My wife and I are going to be spending a day or two in Andorra at the end of June. We'd like to go on a couple walks/hikes and other than that, not too sure what there is to do in the summer months. Just take in the little country. I've noticed there's actually 7 regions and 14 towns in Andorra with over 150 hotels. I have no idea where to start looking. Any ideas or favorite hotels or regions in Andorra? We're hoping to spend 30 or 40Eu per person per night. We'd also love to take in the country itself and would like any recommendations on where to go or what to not miss to help get a feel for this tiny nation. Thanks!!

We stayed at Co-Princeps Hotel in St Julia de Loria which is the town before you get to Andorra de Ville. It was well appointed, spotlessly clean and reasonably priced. Great well priced restaurant there as well. It is only a few kms to Andorra de Ville, but Andorra is generally speaking a very compact little country so nowhere is very far from anywhere else. The drive up to Andorra from the Spanish side is magnificent. Coming down on the French side was also quite spectacular although my memory of it is that we got caught behind a bus and we travelled at snail's pace for what seemed like several Web: hours, but was probably only two or three. Website for the hotel is:

http://www.hotel-coprinceps.com

It's a beautiful place which gave us the feeling of being on top of the world. Enjoy!
