Nassau Riding a scooter from Prince George Wharf to Atlantis
Posted: Mon April 27, 2009 06:24 PM UTC
Hi, is this possible? To rent a scooter from Prince George Wharf and driving it to the Atlantis. My husband and I love to rent scooters to tour islands on "our time" and I would love to visit the Atlantis and I am curious about how long it would take to do this. I would love any feedback!!! Have a great day!

I can't remember if there are scooters on the dock but should be very close. Yes you can ride to Paradise Island. It shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes. There may still be a fee to get on the island.

The scooter rental is right at the Main Gate when you exit the ship. I personally would not rent a scooter to drive to Atlantis because it is usually bumper to bumper traffic crossing the bridge to go over to Paradise Island.I would catch the water taxi instead at $3 pp which is also located right at the ship. I would save the scooter ride for a ride around the island-downtown Nassau is very congested.
