We will be there in Feb. What can we expect for weather?

No-one can predict the weather so far in advance, of course, but it will most probably be quite chilly, with some rain (or, just possibly, a little snow), some frosty nights maybe.

Look at the actual weather forecast nearer the time of your visit to get an idea of what to pack (clothes you can layer, sensible footwear, hat/scarf/gloves and warm outerwear are obvious choices).

As ever, Leics offers good advice. I recall visiting friends for Easter in Nurnberg some years ago. It was wonderful weather, shorts t shirt etc. I was there the following year, same weekend and it rained and snowed.

Obviously you'll be there earlier in the year than that, but my point is that southern Germany can be unpredictable. My guess is it will be quite cold, with a good chance of snow if you're there in early Feb.

Other than that nobody can tell you anything definite so much time in advance.
It can be rainy, it can be snowy, it can be really cold, it can be chilly, it can even be quite warm - check about two weeks before you go, but dress in layers anyway.

Hi, I agree the other. It is hard to predict right now. It can be anything from -20 C in worst case to +15. Especially in the recent years weather is partly doing things pretty unpredictable. In a 'normal' year I would say that February is the coldest month of the year with the highest chance for snow.
