Hi Folks
Any recommendation for a weekend getaway (possibly 3D2N) within UAE?
Possibly a driving trip (but not too stressful one), pls let me know your suggestions. Thank you! =)

Depends on budget. If you have a five star budget you could spend a weekend at Bab El Shams Resort. For less you could go to Hatta Fort Hotel or Al Ain, Fujeirah or Ras Al Khaima.

Well, travel agents in your area also may offer some packages of hotel+ Touring around+ special requests added. That would be much easier and cost effective than doing it on own!!

Try contacting your travel agent... Fujairah is cool, Le Meridien Al Aqah of JAL in Fujairah are on top of my hotel destinations. You can even go to Sharjah and stay with your friend's house if you budget will not allow it. I normally do my week-end in The Old Town, stay with my friends, go to Souq Al Bahar or Al Manzil in the vening for a drink, see the tallest building while eating or having coffe on their terrace. I believe its all up to your budget and what type of destination you are looking for!

A lot of people in Dubai go to Oman for their weekend getaways. The mountains etc are stunning and it is (relatively) cooler at altitude. I don't know what cheaper accommodation is available at Al Ain, but that looked really nice. I spent a night at the government rest-house (clean, own bathroom, safe - what more do you want) at Liwa oasis in the Abu Dhabi emirate (about a 3/4 hour drive from dubai)
