Hi all!

I and my mate are coming to SF on Apr 30 and will stay there for the weekend and then move on to LA. I need your advice on two things:
1. Is it a mistake to spend the weekend in SF instead of LA to enjoy night life/clubbing?
2. It would be great to hear from you all about the night clubs that you can advice for a 35 yrs old guy to have fun

Do you want live music or DJs? Either way, SF is great. Pick up a copy of SF Weekly or the Bay Guardian when you get here - they have everything listed. For all night dancing, don't miss the Endup.

Agree with acprincess...night clubbing is a blast in SFO, and it is interesting how straight and gay people mix up. In LA, I thought the clubbing was not as wild as in SFO. But ahead of SFO and LA, I think the nightlife in San Diego is even better! My sister VT member"jumpingwithnorman" actaully met her current beau through her wild clubbing days in San Diego and they're still madly in love years later - must be something in the San Diego air, hehehe....Norman :)

Great news, you've lighten me up really, after doing a bit more surfing around, I was starting to get the impression that LA is a bit more glamorous. Can't easily answer the DJ or live music question though, it really depends on the mood, I think we'll end up trying both :)
