It is not easy to find one. There is "China in Box" at Rua Bulhões Carvalho, 542.

There's also a Chinese restaurant on Avenida Atlantica, Posto 6 (first floor), and a China in Box kiosque also on Atlantica around Posto 3. But, in my experience (and as confirmed by Chinese friends), Chinese food isn't good in Rio.

My favorite is on Avenida Atlantica in Copacabana, about 4 blocks from the Rio Othon Hotel in Posto 5, heading towards Ipanema.

I should have added that the best known (and most expensive) is Mr Lam. But, according to Chinese friends, this too is neither good nor authentic.

Hello Fellow Traveler,
I agree with Robine. I am a frquent traveler to Brazil. I would not recommend any of the Chinese Restaurants in Rio. Several tourists have expressed to me that the cusine was not that good. I would recommend going to an authentic Brazilian Restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service is very good. There is a better selection and you will experience some cultural flavors of Brazil. I can recommend an upscale restaurant: Marius Restaurant, Avenida Atlantica 290, Leme. I can also recommend a great Churrascaria Restaurant: Carretao Restaurant in Ipanema, at Rua Visconde de Piraja 112 (great salad bar and buffet). You will enjoy both places...
