i am going to salou this friday as i have never been just wanted some info i am staying at the sol costa dorada would like some info on the area weather at the moment and also where will i be better off changing my money over there or back home as i know the euro is not good at the moment. Any replys on salou in general would be much appreciated thanks. :-)

Re changing money -
You haven't completed your personal profile so I don't know where you are from but guess the UK.
If you have a Nationwide Flexaccount with a Debit Card the best thing would be to withdraw Euros from an ATM in Spain. If not you may get the best rate in the Post Office before you go. They usually have Euros in stock.

The hotel is based a bit back from the front, but not too far. walking in, you'll arrive at the start of the seafront ramblas. Turn to your left at the front and you'll come to the park and the 'foreign' bar area. English, Irish, Welsh etc. Cross over and turn to the left and there are some really nice bars right on the front.

Turning to the right give a pleasant walk down towards the old tow, past MacDonalds and some nice boutiques. At the far end of the Ramblas is the harbour and old town. Turning right here takes you to the Train Station.

Reviews I've seen for the hotel are good.
