the nearest airport in subic is clark , but clark doesnt have a direct flight to Manila, its merely 2.5 hours by public bus.

Subic has its own airport, but presently, there are no commercial airlines serving Manila and Subic. I think, it's being used now by cargo/courier companies and chartered flights.
In the past, Air Philippines had Manila-Subic-HK/v.v. and Cebu Pacific had Manila-Subic-Incheon/v.v. flights.

Going to Subic by Land Travel is so Easy it only takes 2 hours total travel time. Coming from Manila
From Manila take NLEX then exit to the last tollgate. from the Toll gate just about 2-3 Km turn right take the SCTEX ( Subic Clark Tarlac Express Way ) 55 Km to Subic, go straight you will see the last toll gate its almost Subic.

There is a ferry that service Subic - Manila and vice versa.
