Hello everyone,

I'll be arriving Luton Airport in the evening (about 1930)and I might be staying at the Stansted Great Dunmow Travelodge (I wonder if this is the nearest Travelodge to the Stansted airport?) as I have an early flight the very next day at 0730.

I was hoping if anyone knows the most convenient way (cheap and fast) to get from Luton Airport to Stansted.

All responses is appreciated and I thank everyone in advance :-)

Those buses fo to the South East major airports around the clock.

The Travelodge is 5 miles from the airport, o I imagine it is the closest. You will have to ensure that you have transport to the airport for an early start. They may have a shuttle but I somehow don't think so.

There is only one cheap direct way from Luton to stansted, and that is with the National Express bus transfer:

Journey takes around 90 minutes.

You can also take a less direct route, by going into Cambridge or London and out again (not really worthwhile).

will give you accurate times and fare information. You should be able to get the 2035 coach, arriving at Stansted at 2155.

The Travelodge you mention is the nearest to Stansted, although there is obviously other accommodation nearer. You should pre-book a taxi or shuttle pick-up to get you to the airport (presumably for around 5.30?) when you arrive. The hotel will be able to advise, or you can google beforehand for local companies.

It would probably be faster to take a taxi, but would certainly not be a cheap option.
