Here are questions instead of answers but maybe they will help you decide.
We have not stayed at either of the hotels you are looking at, we enjoy Grotto Bay and it is less expensive too.
What are you looking for in a hotel? Check if they have all the amenities that you want then check the location however everything is close in Bermuda.
How are you going to travel? We would recommend the public transportation, buses and ferries and a pass.
We think any time of year is a good time to visit Bermuda but it does get a little cool for swimming in the 'winter' months.
If you do not have any other reasons to change plans I would go a little later or October of your selection. This will reduce the number of other visitors a little as you get away from the busier summer season and so attractions will be less crowded.
