Honduras Electrical Outlets
Posted: Sat April 18, 2009 01:50 PM UTC
My new camera doesn't use AA batteries like my last one. Therefore, I need to know if the electrical outlets in Honduras are the same as in the USA. Or will I need an adaptor between my recharger and the plug?

If you are reading this in Honduras, this is what a Norteamericano outlet looks like:

The voltage here is 110V, and my camera recharger has only two prongs (like the outlet on the left in the picture).

Thank you!

Have a look at this site: http://www.kropla.com/electric2.htm
You can see both voltage and what kind of plug they are using in different countries. I have saved it among my favourites and it is of great help when I'm planing a trip.

Different voltage, same plug. Most new cameras have chargers included that cover the full range of voltages. Mine worked fine everywhere in C.America.
