How expensive is it to hire a car approx for 4 days

Rates can vary wildly from company to company and from date to date so check at least 4 or 5 rental companies with your exact dates. Check the web sites given above to find which companies rent where you are going. Then check prices for all of them.

We have used http://www.autoeurope.com/ and http://www.kemwel.com/ for travel in Europe and they are very reliable. Most of the companies you find at home will rent there too so if you are a member of a local auto rental agency, check their member specials.
