Cruise terminal to city

Are we able to walk to town from the cruise ship terminal? How far is town from the cruise terminal. Thanks

IIRC, it's a 20-30 minute walk to the main train station from the terminal (depending on which terminal you're arriving at). There are also trams and buses available at the Main Market (roughly a 5-minute walk away from either terminal).

Do you know which ship/company you're arriving on? It depends on that. Also on where you're arriving from. If you're on Silja/Viking line from Stockholm, it's walking distance.

Check with your cruise company which harbour your ship will dock at. This makes a difference - some quays are within walking distance of the city center, others require a short bus ride.
