One of the best in Toronto is 2nd City. Many comedy film stars from the United States have gotten their start either at 2nd City in Toronto or Chicago. Here is a link to their website.

Yuk Yuk's is a popular Canadian comedy act as well. I have seen them and enjoyed it immensely.

Yuk Yuks is a comedy club, not an act. Another good place to go on Mondays is the Rivoli for the Altdot Comedy Lounge (http://www.rivoli.ca) and Spirits on Wednesdays (http://www.spiritsbarandgrill.com/).

Besides yukyuks, Absolute comedy is pretty good too which is in Midtown.
