Hi,

Is it better to take a bus or rent a car to go to Isla Holbox? I was thinking of staying there 2-3 days. Is the parking lot in Chiquila safe? Thanks!

Great choice for a vacation. We have visted numerous times over the past couple of years. I don't know where you are staying, but we made arrangements for a private car hire to drive back and forth that was fairly reasonable and arranged by the hotel (we stayed at Villas Paraiso). You might want to inquire of the place you are staying. The drive was approxiamtely 2.5 hours. The parking lot at the ferry dock was in a somewhat busy location, relatively speaking for where you are, but I can't attest to the safety.
