In may im going with my school to lourdes, we're staying at the alba hotel and are being given breakfast and the evening meals. so i was wondering how many euros would i need to take additionally as we are staying for a week, with 2 nights on a ferry.

In theory, if your hotel, breakfast and dinner are being taken care of, you only need enough for lunch and any souvenirs you might want to buy. 15 to 20 euros a day would probably be plenty unless you like to eat pretty spectacular lunches.

On the other hand, if you need to pay your entrance fees to sights and some of your transportation, you should find out how much each things costs and budget accordingly.

Normally schools when organising trips do research how much entry fees to sites are and other costs. They should give your parents a guideline on how much cash you will need to take. Or at least in my days they used to do it that way! I would say ask your school, they must have done this trip before and they are likely to know.
