Hi, i am a malaysian and will be taking my family to GC this June. All of us hv never been to GC and no frens there. i am hoping to get some info on the bus transportation and also some travel tips as i want to make a enjoyable and memorable trip for my family. We hv booked our hotel at Santana Resort.

i want to know :-

1) how much is the taxi fare from coolangatta airport to santana resort
2) is there any bus service from airport to town? how much is the fare?
3) cheaper to take a taxi or bus since we hv 4 pax?

Check out www.translink.com.au for bus trip schedule and a journey planner which will help you with what bus to take and where to take it. It proved very useful to me during my stay in Southeast Queensland

I would use a taxi, more for convience after a long flight. It does depend on what time you are travelling, weather it is peak hour, or off peak, bus's can be packed at times, and with you baggage it could make it hard.

hi, thanks for yr kind info, i wl check out in the website. since its our first trip to GC, it would be great if someone can give us some ideas what to see and where to go and how to plan well for a simple and budgeted trip in GC, also, most importantly the place for eating.

LeeAnne, I sent you an e-mail about your trip to the GC offering you some information on where to go and what to do. My wife and I have live on the coast for over 20 years and know it very well.
